Human and Robots are being interacted and integrated increasingly in various domains. We cooperate in factories, interact in public territories and personal households. This collaborations and interactions rise to new technological challenges on safety issues for both human and robots inevitably. Especially for human beings the safety issue is not only physical but also psychological. The IEEE ISR2018 brings together an international community of experts to discuss new research results, and perspectives of future developments relevant to modeling, design, sensing, comprehension, control of intelligent robotics, and robot safety issues on psychology and physics, and related areas.
The sponsors and organizers of IEEE ISR2018 invite a submission of high quality research papers describing original work, including but not limited to the following topics:
Safety standards for robots and systems
Robotics ethics and Policy
Social robotics and safety
Sensors for robot safety
Intelligent autonomous robots and safety
Wearable robots and safety
Rehabilitation system, transfer machine and safety
Interaction control of assistive robots and safety
Human‐in‐Loop and safety
Multi‐agent coordination for human
Human‐robot interaction and interfaces
Human robot cooperation
Machine vision for robot safety
