Nanoporous materials have traditionally been dominated by zeolites and zeotype materials but have recently been greatly expanded to include MOFs, ZIFs, COFs, etc. These materials have much in common yet significant differences that hold key to versatile and powerful potential for novel applications. While advances in zeolite science have continued to extend its commercial impact, the explosive discoveries of novel porous metal-organic framework materials have stimulated intense search for their applications. This conference will bring together a cross-section of researchers from the world-wide communities working on nanoporous materials and share the latest results on synthesis, characterization, computer modeling, scoping for potential applications, and initial novel applications. The conference will be an excellent forum for advancing state of the art for these intellectually fascinating and practically important materials.
