Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research (BICMR) locates on the north Shore of Weiming Lake on the campus of Peking University. Sponsored by the national government of China, BICMR is devoted to promoting forefront mathematical research and education, and enhancing scientific exchange and cooperation among Chinese and international mathematicians.

BICMR is a research institute with new recruiting and evaluation system. It has an advisory committee, a scientific committee and an executive committee.

The advisory committee consists of well respected mathematicians and relevant officials.The scientific committee consists of internationally renowned mathematicians from both China and abroad.  Since its establishment in 2005, BICMR has been actively recruiting global talents and exploring new models of mathematical education.
