The 23^rd Conference on Isoprenoids will take place in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, on September 4-7, 2016. The Organizing Committee invites you and your colleagues to take part in the Conference. The Conference is organized by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, in cooperation with Czech Chemical Society as a continuation of the tradition established in 1966 by Polish and Czech scientists.

During the time passed, this scientific meeting has become an important biennial event gathering specialists who are interested in different aspects of the area including chemistry, biochemistry, biology, ecology and others. After a pause in progression, the conference was revived in 2014 and got new stimuli for further development as an attracting center for isoprenoid scientists.

The Conference will be held in Minsk, where all the participants will be accommodated. The aim of the Organizing Committee is to keep the lowest possible costs connected with the Conference as well as its high scientific and social level.

For the family of scientists and experts invited lectures, short oral communications and posters will offer maximum information from the field of chemistry and biochemistry of isoprenoids (e.g. isolation, analysis, structural elucidation, reactivity, synthesis and biosynthesis, etc.), their biological activity and mechanism of action, metabolic pathways, applications, etc. Along with traditional directions of research, the Organizing Committee encourages participants to present topics reflecting modern tendencies in isoprenoid studies including their involvement in solving the problems of drug design, chemical ecology, chemical evolution, bio-signaling, supramolecular chemistry, nanomaterials and others. 

The conference language will be English, no simultaneous translation will be provided. All the abstracts will be printed in a book of abstracts.
