Transient astrophysics is now entering an exciting era, with the prospects of observing and detecting high-energy transients across a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum and in non_electromagnetic channels such as gravitational waves and high-energy neutrinos.
We are organizing a five-day workshop on Multi-Messenger Transient Astrophysics from May 6-10 at Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics. The workshop will bring together observers and
theorists who work on various aspects of multi-messenger high-energy astrophysics, especially the prospects of detecting most violent transients in the universe (e.g. gamma-ray bursts, jets from tidaldisruption events) with multi-messenger observational facilities.
