Actual energy consumptionpatterns largely depend on the details of consuming behaviorwhich differsfrom one customer to another on a daily basis.Big data analytics iscritical forsmart grids to improve the accuracy which plays a significant role in energy management in the future. Many power operations are involved in multiple uncertainties from different sources, such as unit commitment, demand response, economic dispatch and load frequency control. This sessionis expected to present data-driven methodologieswhere data acquired from smart metersare characterized by data analysis to make optimaloperational strategyin smart grid.
