Networking technologies are widely used for data communication and information change. It is becoming more important how to apply such technologies to modern industrial/control systems with a large number of distributed sensors and actuators. In rece nt years, a great deal of research has focused on Networked System. Ne tworked sys te mis now used in ma ny i nd ustrial fields.The mai n focus of this special session will be on the new theories and their applications in modeling, control and optimization for complex e ngi neering s yste ms, especially in teleoperation applications s uc h as mobile sensor networks, bilateral control systems, multi-robotcollaboration over the Internet. T he special session enables researchers worldwide to report their most recent developments and ideas in the field, with a special emphasis on the technical advances proposed within the latest years.
