On behalf of the Local APAN 44 Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome all delegates and guests to Dalian, China for the 44th Asia-Pacific Advanced Network. This is the fourth time for China to host APAN meetings since 2000, 2002 and 2007. It’s our great honor to host APAN44 in Dalian, a coastal city located in northeast part of China. The conference venue will be  Dalian International finance conference center which is very famous for its natural landscape and good sightseeing. The hotel is tranquilly beautiful as it is immersed in greenness. There, you can understand what is the well-known “hotel in scenery and people in picture”.

APAN is the greatest community in Asia Pacific region for scholars, experts, teachers, and students to share the ideas and experiences of the Internet development globally, and to face the challenges, and to explore collaboration opportunities. It holds the meetings twice a year and provides a splendid platform for the professors and scientists to work together to promote the national, regional and international Internet development. 

CERNET Center and the local host (Dalian University of Technology) will be very happy to work with APAN Program Committee and APAN Secretariat very closely to ensure the APAN44 a great success. You are also invited to taste the delicious Chinese food, and enjoy the city and have a good experience in Dalian China.
