The 11th PhD Student Workshop 2017 (Suzhou)aims to provide a forum for Hong Kong and Mainland students of project teams under the Mainland Collaboration Schemes to meet and discuss their research findings and the latest advancements in their own discipline. This annual Workshop also aims to advance the participants’ understanding of important issues and frontier research in their own research area.

In conjunction with the Workshop, an award presentation ceremony for “Peter Ho Conference Scholarships” will be held on 4 May 2017. The aim of the scholarship is to recognize and reward PhD students with outstanding academic performance. Students will be subsidised to participate in an academic conference in order to help widen their academic exposure and strengthen their research writing and presentation skills.
