With the degree of aging population is rapidly increasing, delaying retirement age and “double track” pension system reforming are on the agenda as coping strategies. From the individual level, this study analyzed affecting factors of employee retirement decisions through questionnaire survey and computer simulation. Emotional commitment had play the mediating role in the process for job characteristics positively effecting on employee delay retirement decisions; individual delay discounting negatively moderated links between job characteristics and employee delay retirement decisions. These findings provide theoretical guidance for the government, enterprises and employees to seek consensus and scientific decision-making.
