This paper presents the passive acoustic localization fusion method of double five element cross array, and the method designs a new double five element cross array microphone arrangement scheme. According to the principle of passive acoustic localization, the paper deduced the principle of positioning formula of each array, introducing arithmetic weighted average algorithm constructs passive acoustic localization fusion algorithm model of double five element cross array. The simulation results show that not only can the algorithm decrease the time delay estimation error on the direction finding performance of ranging, but also overcome the direction finding precision of ranging effects on the target azimuth variation in sound source, which is higher than single five element cross array in the directional precision, and can measure the position information of the sound source more accurately. This method has a certain role in the practical application of passive acoustic localization.
