The commonly used methods for monitoring blade mass imbalance are based on vibration signals. However, whether using the vibration signals from the main bearing or the tower, the effective information reflecting mass imbalance in the signals is relatively weak, which affects the monitoring and identification of the blade mass imbalance condition. This paper proposes a method based on the fusion of main bearing vibration and tower vibration information. By calculating the coherent cepstrum of these two types of signals, the interference noise can be suppressed, and the mass imbalance information in the vibration signals can be enhanced. This, in turn, improves the monitoring and identification of abnormal blade conditions. The application effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through the analysis of actual monitoring data from wind turbines.
