The electroreduction of CO2 (CO2RR) to chemicals and fuels provides a sustainable avenue to the storage of intermittent renewable electricity. Although a wide range of different products from C1 to C3 have been produced, CO2RR still suffers from low selectivity at commercially relevant current densities (100 mA cm-2). In this talk, I will present our recent progress towards the electrosynthesis of chemicals from CO2RR, looking both at the catalyst and at the system.
