Coupling and coordination relationship among high-quality development, carbon emission efficiency and intensive land use: A case study of Zhejiang Province
high-quality economic development,carbon emission efficiency,intensive land use,coupling and coordination
Taking 11 prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang Province as the research object, this study constructs a coupling and coordination evaluation indicator system based on high-quality economic development, carbon emission efficiency, and intensive land use. It uses the entropy weight method, Topsis method, SBM model, and coupling coordination degree model to estimate the comprehensive development index and coupling coordination of the three systems of prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang Province from 2011 to 2021. The results show that (1) from the perspective of the temporal changes of the three factors, the level of land-intensive use and carbon emission efficiency of Zhejiang Province lag behind the level of high-quality economic development; (2) From the perspective of spatial distribution of the three, the level of land intensive use, the level of high-quality economic development and the degree of coupling coordination in Zhejiang Province show the trend of "North Zhejiang > South Zhejiang" all the year round; (3) From the perspective of influencing factors, carbon emission efficiency and land intensive use can promote the coordinated development of the three systems. The study results provide a new perspective for promoting the joint development of high-quality regional economic development, carbon emission efficiency, and land-intensive use.
