Wind power penetration not only affects the stability of power system, but also involves the safe operation of traditional thermal units. In this paper, the wind-thermal-bundled transmission system is taken as the research object, and the torsional vibration of the generator shaft and electrical characteristics of the system are investigated based on the influence of the rotor side converter (RSC) control parameters for doubly-fed induction generation (DFIG). The unified electrical and mechanical model of wind-thermal-bundled transmission system is established. The torsional vibration responses of generator shaft and electrical features of wind-thermal-bundled transmission system with different RSC control parameters are analyzed by using time-frequency analyzing methods. However, the vibration is restrained with the increase of the inner loop gain coefficients. The torsional vibration of the wind turbine shaft and the electrical characteristics of the wind-thermal-bundled transmitted system are also affected with the changes of the RSC control parameters. The results provide a theoretical reference for the suppression of sub-synchronous oscillation and the design of wind turbine control system.
