Ultrashort relativistic lasers interact with solid target can create mega-electronvolt energies ion beams. The quality of ion beam is highly sensitive to laser and target parameters. In this work, about 400 simulations were performed to create the data ensemble using in modeling laser-driven ion acceleration, and a surrogate ensemble was developed to study the parameter space. The input parameters in consideration are laser intensity, target density, target thickness and ion mass. Based on fully connected neutral networks, a surrogate model with continuous mapping between input parameters and ion beam peak energy and maximum energy was created over sparse parameter spaces. With the results of this model mapping, we proposed a corrected theory for ion peak energy of Hole-Boring Radiation Pressure Acceleration mechanism, and the fitted formula of ion maximum energy according to the input parameters, which can provide an important reference for the laser-driven ion acceleration experiments design.
