摘要
Cap and pin ceramic or glass insulators with composite shed is a new type of insulator, there is little systematic research on its electromechanical characteristics. To study the electromechanical characteristics of this insulator and analyze the domestic manufacturing status, the mechanical performance test, electrical performance test and silicone rubber shed material test were carried out for the products of different manufacturers. The test results show that the most products can meet the requirements of the operation needs and current standards, only the samples from manufacturer E failed to pass the impulse puncture withstand voltage test in air. Due to the differences in product formula and production process, some test parameters are also obviously different, such as mechanical failing load test and silicone rubber shed material test. The research can provide reference for the design, insulation configuration and maintenance of cap and pin ceramic or glass insulators with composite shed.
