Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) has been invented as a mechanical energy harvester based on the coupling effect of triboelectrifrication effect and electrostatic induction. Thanks to its low cost, simple preparation, and high output power, utilizing TENG as a pressure sensor is a very promising application. However, traditional TENG as a pressure sensor does not possess enough sensitivity, which prevents its further application in the field of self-powered sensing. In this paper, the microsphere-based triboelectric nanogenerator as ultrasensitive pressure sensor was prepared by light-cured 3D printing. The fabrication process is very simple and cost-effective, and microstructures are introduced on the surface of the triboelectrification layer through template method. Pressure sensors with different sensitivities were obtained by adjusting the size of the microsphere. The maximum sensitivity of the pressure sensor can reach 150 mV/Pa so respiratory and pulse monitoring can be implemented by attaching the ultrasensitive pressure sensor to the chest and wrist of a human body, respectively.
