摘要
Many cities in China have already implemented the bicycle sharing program as a strategy to promote low-carbon transportation policies. Public bicycles can solve the “last mile problem”, extending the reach of subway stations from a pedestrian-accessible circle to a cycling-accessible circle, and achieving efficient transfer and connection at rail transit sites, thereby further upgrading subway stations. The range of services enables people’s employment, education, and healthcare opportunities to increase significantly.
Firstly, the paper studies on the theory of network accessibility and the related models of accessibility measurements. Based on the ArcGIS network analysis method, the thesis explores the construction of traffic networks and the analysis methods of network accessibility in single mode and multi-mode.
Secondly, taking Nanjing as a case, this paper uses ArcGIS to construct the Nanjing Metro network and the “Metro+Bicycle” network, and uses the modified potential model to calculate the accessibility measurements, focusing on comparing the accessibility performance of residents from the Nanjing Railway Station network and the “Metro+Bicycle” network between the three types of destinations: train station, business center and administrative center and performed a visual presentation.
Finally, the accessibility results of the two networks are compared through statistical analysis, and the impact of rental bicycles on the accessibility of rail transit in Nanjing is further analyzed.
