摘要
The small deceleration of vehicles in front of tunnel entrance in freeway is a crucial cause of freeway traffic accidents. Scientific designing of deceleration markings and pavements can effectively force drivers to slow down. In this paper, a simulation traffic scene of freeway was built by UC-win/Road, and several tunnels were established in the scene. The corresponding amount of deceleration markings and pavements with different colors, different types, different parameters and different laying densities were set on the surface of roads in front of those tunnels. What’s more, a tunnel without deceleration markings and pavements was added as a control group. And then experiments were conducted based on a driving simulator. Through the analysis of the experiments’ data such as speed, longitudinal acceleration and speed change position etc., the deceleration effects of deceleration markings and pavements with different attributions on the drivers’ behavior are obtained. The results provide a reference for the scientific designing of the deceleration markings and pavements on the roads’ surface in front of tunnel entrance, which can effectively reduce the traffic accident rate of the freeway to some extents.
