摘要
Cement content plays an important role in the performance of cement stabilized macadam base and is one of the main factors affecting its strength and durability when the gradation is certain. In order to explore the influence of cement content on the performance of cement stabilized macadam base in the seasonal frozen zone, 4%-8% (1% interval) of cement were selected respectively and tested by unconfined compressive strength test, dry shrinkage test, temperature shrinkage test and freeze-thaw cycle test based on the use requirements and climatic conditions of the seasonal freezing zone, and the change regulations of strength, crack resistance and frost resistance of cement stabilized macadam at different cement doses are studied. The results show that the unconfined compressive strength of cement-stabilized macadam increases gradually with the increase of cement content, and the strength increases greatly at 6% cement dosage. The dry shrinkage strain of cement stabilized macadam under different cement contents continue to increase with time. The dry shrinkage coefficient and the temperature shrinkage coefficient of cement stabilized macadam increase remarkably with the cement content excess 6%, but the water loss rate has no obvious relationship with the cement content; the cement stabilized macadam has the best frost resistance when the cement content is 6%. Considering the strength and durability, it is recommended to use 5~6% as the optimum cement content for the test gradation cement stabilized macadam in the seasonal freezing zone.
