摘要
Accessibility is a vital indicator in quantitative studies target at service levels of transport resources and public infrastructure. There has been a growing interest in this topic in China, however, most researchers in China, due to the scarcity of transportation database construction, have less access to primary traffic data compared with overseas scholars when analyzing accessibility with geographic information systems (GIS). This paper provides a new approach to deal with this problem by integrating Big Data sources into ArcGIS. With the case study of Nanjing, China, the reachable time acts as the accessibility indicator, an improved spatial separation model is established. Furthermore, the distribution characteristics of accessibility in arbitrary continuous regions are extracted by using inverse distance weighted interpolation method (IDW). As a result, we obtain the spatial feature distribution figures of transit accessibility in the city of Nanjing. These figures provide a decision-making support for Nanjing’s future urban public transport planning and contribute to new urbanization and infrastructure construction.
