In this paper, mainly aiming at plateau cold areas, introduces the research on temperature-regulating asphalt pavement based on phase change materials (PCMs), elastic self-stress ice-breaking asphalt pavement, and environment-friendly self-melting deicing asphalt pavement. The driving conditions of the road surface in cold plateau areas are ameliorated to promote road driving comfort, durability and safety through the application of some technologies.
