摘要
Crumb rubber modified asphalt (CRMA) has been widely used because of its physical and environmental benefits. Many researchers have studied the aging of CRMA, but most of them focus on the overall research of CRMA, seldom related to the effect of base asphalt aging on performances of CRMA. In this study, the aging effect of base asphalt on the performance of CRMA was studied by the thin film oven test (TFOT). The results showed that thermo-oxidative aging of base asphalt had a negative effect on the properties of CRMA. The aging of base asphalt resulted in the reduction of penetration, ductility, and elastic recovery of CRMA prepared, the increase of softening point and viscosity, and further deterioration of plasticity of CRMA,which continued to be more serious as the degree of aging of base asphalt increased.
