摘要
Fog seal with sand (FSS) is a new preventive maintenance technology based on fog seal. At present, FSS is widely applied in pavement, but the road performance cannot be guaranteed because of the lack of systematic uniform design evaluation standard. In order to optimize the material design, this study proposes four design indexes of FSS, including suspension capacity of mother liquor, storage stability of mother liquor, volume shrinkage of mixture and dynamic suspension stability of mixture. The evaluation parameters such as settling time T, storage stability difference SSD, volume shrinkage VR and dynamic suspension DSt,s are also proposed. A new type of FSS material is developed, and the effects of water content and sand content on FSS performance are studied. The results show that the design indexes objectively reflect the state of mother liquor and mixture, and can guide the design and development of FSS material.
