摘要
With the vigorous development of connected vehicle(CV)technology,various applications of it will bring great convenience to the future traffic system.Cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC) system is an effective way to improve traffic throughput by form stable platoons with sensor and vehicle-to-everything(V2X) technology.However,current research about CACC algorithm are mostly focused on the highway driving environment,where frequent accelerate and braking are uncommon.This paper proposes a new algorithm that can improve the traffic flow efficiency and safety of CV platoon in signalized intersections.In this study,a new CACC algorithm is consisting of two parts:predict the optimal strategy of platoons crossing the signalized intersection in advance and provide the corresponding optimized trajectory for vehicles of platoon.Computer simulations verified the reliability of the new algorithm and its optimization in the delay time and traffic flow efficiency.
