Safety Analysis of Coordinated Warning Information in Construction Area of Expressway

摘要
The construction area is easy to cause traffic accidents and form traffic bottleneck. In this study, based on driving simulation technology, a test platform for warning information of vehicle-road cooperative construction area was built, and three indexes including speed, acceleration, and speed standard deviation were adopted to explore the influence of HMI warning information on the safety of construction area. The results show that the HMI warning information will reduce the vehicle speed to some extent, and the fluctuation of acceleration and velocity standard deviation of HMI vehicle is decreased and the safety is significantly increased compared with the conventional vehicle. In this study, the influence of HMI warning information on expressway construction area was analyzed from the perspective of safety, which laid a foundation for the research on the comprehensive evaluation of vehicle-road collaborative systems on expressway construction area and the synergistic mechanism of deep-digging vehicle-road.
