摘要
To develop a practicable and clear guideline for warning piles on low-grade highway in China, it is necessary to understand the effect of warning piles on driving performance in different setting conditions. Firstly, two factors experiment of warning piles were designed; one factor was color, consisting of two modes, red and yellow, the other factor was side, consisting of two types, unilateral and bilateral. A driving simulation experiment including 4 scenarios was carried out to obtain vehicle operation data. Secondly, the repeated Analysis of Variance was conducted to analyze the main effect and interaction of different color and side types on vehicle operation indicators, speed and speed standard deviation. The results showed that the warning piles had a great influence on driving behaviors, and the red, bilateral warning piles made the driver more sensitive to the curve perception, thus maintaining Lower speed to promote safe driving.
