The underground garage has become a necessary supporting facility for the commercial square in many big cities. Reasonable traffic design can improve parking efficiency and project attractiveness. Because different traffic design schemes will bring various influences to the underground garage, it is difficult to select the scheme scientifically and reasonably before construction. In this study, a comprehensive evaluation method of underground garage traffic design scheme is designed. The method is divided into three steps: Firstly, according to the different needs of drivers and builders, an evaluation index system of underground garage traffic design scheme is established, which includes utilization rate, turnover rate, parking time, delay, number of streamline conflict points, queue length, and area occupied by a single parking space. Secondly, micro-simulation of underground garage internal traffic is carried out by VISSIM software, and the quantitative value of evaluation index is obtained. Finally, using data envelopment analysis (DEA), the relative efficiency of multiple schemes with multiple inputs and outputs is analyzed. In addition, in order to verify the rationality of this method, through a practical engineering case, not only the micro-simulation of each alternative scheme is carried out, but also the efficiency ranking among the schemes is given by DEA. At the same time, the main factors that lead to the non-DEA effectiveness of the scheme are found, and the improvement measures are put forward. The evaluation method transforms the experience-oriented decision-making problem into a multi-input and multi-output planning problem. By comparing the relative efficiency of the schemes, it evaluates the schemes and provides scientific suggestions for the decision-makers.
