摘要
Rationally configuring the capacity of the DC side reactor and restraining the rising rate of short-circuit current at the same time is one of the difficult points in the research of hybrid high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission technology. This paper proposes an optimization algorithm that fully considers the relationship between reactor capacity and short-circuit current, and applies it to line commutated converter (LCC)-modular multilevel converter (MMC) hybrid HVDC network. Firstly, the mathematical expression of short-circuit current including smoothing reactor (SR) and current limiting reactor (CLR) is derived when the fault occurs on the DC-side. Secondly, taking the minimum reactor capacity and the minimum sum of the short-circuit current as two objective functions, the variable weight coefficient method and the penalty function method are used to obtain the optimally configured reactor capacity. Finally, a two-port hybrid LCC-MMC HVDC transmission system is built in Matlab/Simulink, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.
