摘要
With the large-scale wind power integrations in a power gird, the system frequency stability was seriously decreased when the wind power generators operate in maximum power tracking operation. This paper addresses a temporary frequency response (TFR) scheme to enhance the frequency response capability of the doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) by designing a frequency deviation-dependent control coefficient. With the proposed TFR strategy, DFIGs can adaptively adjust the kinetic energy injected into the grid based on the frequency deviation so as to provide suitable frequency support after detecting a frequency event. Based on EMTP-RV (electromagnetic transients program, restructured version) software, a four-machine two-area system model is established to verify the effectiveness of the proposed TFR scheme. Simulation results clearly indicate that DFIGs with the proposed TFR scheme provide better performance in alleviating the maximum frequency deviation under various wind power penetrations.
