新文科建设背景下民族类高校大学英语教学的革新

“新文科”建设面临着不同学科之间的全面交叉与融合。在这种时代大背景下,民族地区高校应发挥区域优势,深入推进"以多学科协同及多元化的人才培养"为理念的英语教育改革。但是目前我国少数民族语言类学生的大学英语教学课堂,不论是教学质量还是教学效率都差强人意,除了民族学生英语学习基础薄弱、方法有误区之外,还和大学英语教师教学模式和手段有直接关联。基于此现状,西北民族大学针对中国少数民族语言学生实施了基于戏剧教育的“舞台式”大学英语教学改革创新模式。“舞台式”教学正是在新文科的视域下实施的新型教学方法,真正促进了外语专业和多个学科的交叉和融合。经过几年的改革教学,民族类学生的英语教学取得了较显著的效果。通过本文旨在探讨目前我国民族类高校大学英语教学的创新模式,以期对大学英语教学的有效发展做有益的探讨。



The construction of "new liberal arts" is faced with the comprehensive intersection and integration of different disciplines. Under the background of this era, universities in ethnic areas should give full play to their regional advantages and further promote the reform of English education with the concept of "multi-disciplinary cooperation and diversified personnel training". However, at present, the teaching quality and efficiency of College English for ethnic minority students are not satisfactory. Besides the weak foundation of ethnic minority students' English learning and misunderstanding of teaching methods, it is also directly related to the teaching mode and means of College English teachers. Based on this situation, Northwest Minzu University has implemented College English teaching reform and innovation mode based on drama education for Chinese minority language students. Drama-based English Teaching is a new teaching method implemented from the perspective of new liberal arts, which really promotes the cross and integration of foreign language majors and multiple disciplines. After several years of teaching reform, ethnic students' English teaching has achieved remarkable results. The purpose of this paper is to explore the innovative mode of College English Teaching in Ethnic Universities in China, so as to make a beneficial discussion on the effective development of College English teaching.
