The wave superposition method(WSM) has been widely studied and applied since it was proposed. However, due to the inherent characteristics of the wave superposition model, the reconstruction accuracy and stability of the acoustic field largely depend on the position and shape of the equivalent source surface. If the layout of the equivalent source surface is not reasonable, the solution system will tend to be ill conditioned or singular, and it is difficult to obtain satisfactory reconstruction results. The principle of wave superposition method does not exactly give the configuration rules of equivalent sources, so it is necessary to analyze various factors affecting the reconstruction accuracy . In the previous work, aiming at the ill conditioned property of the transfer matrix, we proposed a ray wave superposition method . In this method, the traditional monopole spherical wave function is replaced by the ray wave function in the view of optimizing the wave function, which played a certain role in improving the ill conditioned property of the transfer matrix and the reconstruction stability. However, after in-depth study, it is found that, besides some factors, the order of ray wave function has influence on the reconstruction accuracy of sound field. Therefore, in order to further improve the accuracy and stability of sound field reconstruction, based on the ray wave superposition method, the sensitivity analysis of the order, frequency, position and shape of the equivalent source surface of the ray wave function are carried out. The results show that, the lower order of the wave function, as well as the farther distant between the equivalent source plane and the sound source plane will lead to an ill conditioned the transfer matrix, and reconstruction stability of the sound field will be worse. However, the numerical accuracy of the sound field reconstruction is higher in this case. On the contrary, the higher order of the wave function, as well as the closer distant between the equivalent source plane and the sound source plane will lead to a weaker ill conditioned of the transfer matrix, and the reconstruction stability of the sound field will be better. However, the singularity of the system will increase in this case. Finally, the order of the ray wave function and the location of the equivalent source surface are given.
