Urban public space is the main place for human outdoor activities. Simulating human behavior through the Multi-Agent System (MAS) is one of the important methods to study public space. However, most of the research is concerned with the way people behave and the connection to spatial layouts. They ignore that in outdoor spaces, micro climate factors tend to have a more important impact on human behavior. In this study, the micro climate factors were transformed into two main factors of human comfort and sunshine. Both of them are integrated into the traditional MAS, so that it is more consistent with the actual situation of human behavior. The case of Gulou Square in Nanjing, China demonstrated that the new simulation system is more effective and valuable.
