This paper proposes a control strategy for energy management for a micro-grid based hybrid wind-PV-battery system in an isolated location. The system consists of a two renewable energy sources with battery back-up energy storage. This system provides continuous load demand. Both wind and PV (solar) sources are hybridized with battery storage for reliable, efficient and stable power generation and distribution. This paper provides control algorithm for efficient power flows in DC-links and in converters with minimum losses. The proposed systems were tested and validate in MATLAB simulink software. The initial conditions of the system were taken as standard data such as solar irradiation taken as 1000W/m2 and wind speed at 12m/s.
