With the large-scale access of distributed generation in distribution network, operation control of distribution network faces new challenges. Active distribution network is not to distribute electric energy passively, but to achieve coordinated optimization of source-network-load through active management. Considering different types of distributed energy such as controllable distributed generation, energy storage devices and flexible loads in active distribution network management, a day-ahead optimization model of active distribution network is established. Taking the day-ahead 24 hours active power output of the distributed generation as the optimization variable, and the minimum operating cost of the power company as the objective function, the model can realize the maximum absorption of distributed generation and the economical and efficient operation of distribution network. The model is solved by means of adaptive particle swarm algorithm and verified by a modified IEEE 33-node distribution network.
