Abstract-Aiming at the special power grid structure of 66kV power grid in Shenyang, this paper proposes a wide-area backup automatic switch system for Smart Substation in this area, which can improve the reliability of power grid operation, we explains the system framework and control principle of wide-area backup automatic switch system in detail, and Selective analysis action logic of wide-area backup automatic switch system in this area. In finally, we use Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) simulate and analyze wide-area backup automatic switch system in this area, the simulation results verify its feasibility.
