Power quality is particularly important. The existing power quality monitoring cannot analyze the power quality of whole network because the nodes equipped with power quality monitor only account for a small part. With the continuous expansion of the automation coverage of distribution networks, massive terminal measurement data are obtained. So a method for analyzing the power quality of distribution network using distribution network terminal monitoring data is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the data from the distribution network monitoring devices is collected and the available indicators of power quality are analyzed based on data characteristics. Secondly, the method of preprocessing terminal data and calculating each index by R language and MATLAB is given. Finally, a complete process structure of distribution network terminal data for power quality is established. The terminal data from a certain district of 0.4kv distribution network is applied to represent feasible of the proposed method.
