摘要录用
The paper presents a novel method in combustion process optimization in coal-fired power plant. The innovative approach has been applied in a 600 MWe tangentially fired pulverized-coal boiler and relies on integration of the acoustic technology for in-furnace gas temperature measurement and advanced combustion optimization system. Initially, the acoustic system was integrated with DCS (Distributed Control System), to provide information about combustion gas temperature to operators. For further improvement of the process performance, the second phase of this project was aimed to integrate the acoustic measuring system with combustion optimization software. The combustion optimization system is integrated with DCS, so calculated set-points for boiler devices are automatically sent to DCS. The optimization system monitors such parameters like: superheat and reheat steam temperatures, NOx, CO, O2 as well as in-furnace temperature distribution. Based on these signals' values, the mathematical model of the process and optimization targets, the system calculates optimal set points of boiler controllable devices, like: secondary air dampers, SOFA dampers, SOFA tilts, burner tilts and O2 set point. The innovative approach in this project allows for more precise optimization of the combustion process. In the consequence of the main project goals are further increase the boiler efficiency and reduction of the environmental pollution, improving, simultaneously, safety and controllability of the process.
