Study on an Intelligent System of 1000MW Class Nuclear Power Generator Core Stacking

The intelligent system of 1000MW class nuclear power generator core stacking is the most important part of our Smart Factory. The system has been set up in Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group(SECPG) Lingang factory, which specializes in manufacturing main equipment for nuclear power plants including both of nuclear island and conventional island, such as steam generator, pressurizer, steam turbine&generator, condenser and so on. The traditional generator core stacking is all-manual, which is high labor cost and low efficiency. There are normally eight workers in one stacking station at the same time. Refer to Siemens factory, SECPG intelligent system has been set up. With the help of it, labor cost is much lower, efficiency is much higher and accuracy is much better. Analyze on the characteristics of robot subsystem and the process requirements, and different products in the intelligent system are compared, then technology improvement and upgrade are proposed.
